The type of luminescence composition

【A luminescence pigment have the following types】

(1)ZnS pigment

<features>
The luminance is weak and the speed of the hydrolysis is fast.
Phosphorescent (persistence)time is short. It is about 20-30 minutes at 25℃.
By soaking ZnS pigment in water all day, phosphorescent time becomes 5 seconds.

<The place using ZnS pigment>
In EU countries, there are still a lot of goods using this pigment.
In Japan, we confirmed that a? wallpaper manufacturer uses this pigment at least.

(2)Strontium Aluminate pigment-emit yellow green light-

Nemoto and Co., ltd had the patent of this pigment. (This patent expired in 2014)

<features>
The initial luminance is high. Phosphorescent time is about 20-30 hours at 25℃.(it is different depending on how you use it.)
The speed of the hydrolysis is fast. If you soak this pigment in water 3 days, the light is not visible at all.

(3)Strontium Aluminate pigment-emit blue green light-

NICHIA CORPORATION has the patent of this pigment.

<features>
The initial luminance is not higher than yellow. Phosphorescent is about 8-12 hours.( it is different depending on? how you use it.)
The speed of the hydrolysis is slower than yellow. If you use it outside, it can last for 5 years. The performance falls to approximately half in 2-3 years.

【The reason we use it】
As an extreme chemical reaction is caused between this pigment and water, it becomes not to emit light.
When we developed the waterproof technology, the reaction speed of Zns and SrAl2O4? was fast. So it is impossible to process them.
Sr4Al14O25 is the only one that can emit light, even when we add the waterproof technology.
Therefore, we developed the technology by using this pigment..
The waterproof technology were developed and it became possible to improve all technology. So by using this pigment, the problems that we can not commercialize it were better.

【Accumulated amounts of energy】
It is determined by the purity ofSr4Al14O25+Eu+Dy.
Luminesuss achieved a purity of 98 %or higher.
This is the best purity of all pigments.

【The rule of the energy release】
<In the case we increase the release amount>
The initial luminance is very high. Persistence time becomes shorter due to large release amount.
<In the case we decrease the release amount>
The initial luminance in lower.Persistence time is longer.

The numerical value changes depending on the environment.

 

The features of yellow-green are that the initial luminance is high ,and the
persistence time is short.
The features of blue green are that the initial luminance is less high ,and the
persistence time is long.

Therefore, it is affected by the temperature and the humidity.

This pigment`s problems

【It is weak in water. It is easier to absorb moisture in the air?than a desiccant】
Moisture in the air and this pigment cause a chemical reaction(hydrolysis),so this pigment’s lifetime shorten.
【A chemical reaction that is caused by materials like resins】
The left side is non-defective products. The right side is defective products.
This pigment and the resins cause a chemical reaction ,and the resins turn black.?
pigment`s problems materials like resins
Blue has high durability, but it occurs hydrolysis. This? pigment halves every 17 years.?Yellow luminescence composition completely unrelated because it occurs hydrolysis rapidly. However, if we consider the speed of the blue luminescence composition? in the neutral environment as a basis, it is reduced to less than half in the alkali environment.
Also, in the acidic environment , it occurs hydrolysis more rapidly at several times (from3 times to 7 times)the rate of the speed in the neutral environment
When this chemical reaction occurs, yield rate is average 50%.(In the case we use low-temperature resins. If we use high-temperature resins, all of them turn black and we can`t make non-defective products. )

This pigment is very hard.(Vickers hardness=Hv800~Hv1200)
So the part of the metal like machineries, pots is chipped.
